MedStar Pro™ is tailored for the solo-practitioner, multi-provider or multi-location group. The software is designed with built-in edits, and a payer-specific rules database, to ensure optimum claim processing with minimum rejected claims. MedStar Pro’s customizable scheduler permits the practice to create daily and weekly templates, including categories, events, resources and transportation. The software also has a proprietary Reimbursement Manager module that enables the practice to monitor and process insurance denials and open claims by category, including dollar amount and percentages. The HL7 interface allows flexible data exchange between other medical platforms. More importantly, Medstar Pro™ not only has a catalog of standard reports, but Report Star (Custom Report Writer), which is an additional module that builds custom reports.
